Kiddles Sports is a local institution in the

heart of downtown Lake Forest, Illinois—for over half a century we have built and grown our business with the foundation of providing personal, customized and knowledgeable service. When a customer walks in, they are welcomed the same way as if they are walking into our home.

Ron Shlifka purchased Kiddles Sports from the Kiddles family in September 1968, back then a hardware store with a license to carry and sell Schwinn bicycles. In 1972, Jay Shlifka having just graduated from college came into the business with the vision of transitioning the hardware portion of the business into sporting goods and shoes.

Kiddles Sports has become known for being the place for the latest sporting equipment and shoes from all the major brands. Along with our brick and mortar storefront we also provide many local schools, teams and park districts with custom uniforms, apparel and accessories. Having carved our niche as the place to go for custom screen printed and embroidered gear we cater to all custom athletic team needs. In addition to athletic teams, we have taken our expertise to be the solution to custom business merchandise and corporate gifting.
